Welcome to the Saddleridge Property Owner's Website


Saddleridge is a community of 218 multi-acre homesites located in the Texas Hill Country 4 miles south of Wimberley, on the northeast corner of the junction of Ranch Road 12 and Ranch Road 32. As of Fall 2017, 147 homes are either completed or in progress in the subdivision.

SADDLERIDGE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION
NOTICE OF 2018 BUSINESS MEETING & BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION
AND BALLOT

In accordance with the Saddleridge Property Owners Association Bylaws, the Annual Business Meeting and Election of the SPOA Board of Directors has been scheduled for 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Saddleridge Clubhouse at 421 Arrowhead Pass. The election is for four (4) SPOA Board of Directors positions. Newly elected Board Members will serve from November 1, 2018 until October 31, 2019. Property Owners wishing to vote in person may do so at the Annual Business Meeting. Voting will be from 10:00AM to 11:00AM on the day of the meeting.
 
For Property Owners wishing to vote absentee, please complete the 2018 Election Ballot (click here) and mail to: SPOA, P.O. Box 924, Wimberley, TX 78676. Absentee ballots must be received no later than Friday, October 26, 2018 to be valid. Vote for a total of four, and only four, candidates and/or write-in nominees. Property Owners are entitled to one vote per lot owned. If you own multiple lots, you may vote all of your lots on a single ballot by listing all of the lot numbers owned. The ballot must be signed by at least one of the Owners of Record for the lot being voted.
 
 

Firewise Communities USA

In 2004, Saddleridge became a member of the Firewise Communities USA. The Firewise Communities approach emphasizes community responsibility for planning in the design of a safe community as well as effective emergency response, and individual responsibility for safer home construction and design, landscaping, and maintenance.

Over the past few years we have worked with Jan Fulkerson of the Texas Forest Service to encourage effective fire safety practices within Saddleridge. Jan has attended and spoken at Saddleridge Board meetings and Neighborhood Night Out meetings, as well as worked with individual property owners to review and recommend specific changes to improve fire safety.

The Firewise website (www.firewise.org) has considerable information regarding fire safety and personal improvements that can be made. There are regular newsletters published on the website, and there's a page on the efforts undertaken by Saddleridge residents (www.firewise.org/usa/saddle_ridge.htm). Take a look at the information available on their website when you get a chance.
